The BMW Motorcycle Jacket Barcelona GTX Unisex is a lightweight waterproof jacket for urban use in hot weather. It is made to be worn over your clothes or even your everyday jacket. It stands out in particular for its practicality.
The comfort of the BMW Barcelona GTX summer motorcycle jacket:
The jacket is made to be worn over your everyday clothes, it is a real essential ally in your urban daily life. Lightweight, it is perfect for warmer temperatures, but adapts to all weather conditions.
The motorcycle jacket is made of three layers of Gore-Tex Pro which make it a waterproof jacket. The outer layer is 100% polyamide, which also makes it a very durable blend.
There are several stretch inserts in the jacket to ensure your comfort. In the collar, a "Storm Hood" is integrated and can be worn under your helmet.
The jacket has been tested for waterproofing, it has a 27,000mm water column meaning it took 27,000mm of water pressure before a single drop entered the fabric. Although waterproof, the fabric remains breathable.
The adjustment of the width of the cuffs is done by velcro.
The jacket has a large number of pockets with a breast pocket, a pocket on each sleeve, two flap pockets on the front and a waterproof front pocket.
The safety of the BMW Barcelona GTX motorcycle jacket:
The three-layer Gore-Tex Pro composition and the polyamide exterior make this jacket very resistant to abrasion.
The joints (elbows and shoulders) are protected by removable NP3 protectors. A location is provided for the NPL back protector but it is not provided.
Discreet reflective bands, black in color, are present on the sleeves and at the collar.
The jacket is certified class A, EN 17092-4:2020.
